Okay, so I've made an adjustment to my blog schedule. The last Thursday of each month will be about what's coming up the next month. So that means that for today, I'll be posting dates and events in February you need to be aware of.
February 1st - Superbowl Party
Starts at 5:30 at the Summers' house. If you need directions or can help with bringing food, please talk to Tim or Charity.
February 7th - Habitat for Humanity
For anyone (including parents) who are 16 and older (Habitat's rule, not mine). If you don't know anything about Habitat for Humanity, please take a look at their organization. We will be helping build a home for a family in need. All the students need to bring is themselves.
February 20-28 - Winterfest
We will leave at 8 am on Friday morning. I will send a letter to your child's school administrator to get an excused absence. If you have not turned in money yet, please do so ASAP. Also, if you have not turned in a notarized yearly release form, your child will need this one filled out and signed before we leave. Also please take a minute to look over the rules that your child will be expected to abide by for the weekend.
Also, the parents' meeting that was scheduled for this weekend has been postponed. Now it will be held on Friday, March 6th at the Summers'. I will keep you posted as soon as we get a time hammered out.
